WORKPLACE DO’S AND DON’TS FOR INTERNS
DO’S:- Punctuality is essential; always arrive on time and give advance notice if you are delayed.
- Dress appropriately for your workplace and maintain professional behavior at all times.
- Take time to learn some local phrases as a gesture of respect, especially in non-English speaking destinations.
- Don’t use personal devices during work hours unless necessary for work.
- Avoid discussions about politics, religion, or other potentially sensitive topics in professional settings.
- Don’t violate workplace policies or disregard instructions given by supervisors or colleagues.

HOST FAMILY
Host family placements are ideal for interns interested in cultural immersion. Rules and expectations include:- Respect shared and personal spaces by keeping them clean and adhering to house guidelines.
- Respect the house’s quiet hours, and avoid disturbing neighbors with loud activities.
